Fantastic service

I was looking for a cost effective way to monitor my new hot water heat pump power consumption and to experiment with the Shelly product. It works well and easy to set up. I don’t need the switching function and will see if that is a problem.

Our sparky introduced us to the Shelly Line of products.
Brilliant. And Lykalyte is the place to go to to get the switches, sensors etc.

Working well but had to adjust the rail fitment as wouldn't clip in firmly. Probably ok with a more modern cabinet.

As usual the Shelly device just worked. Setup is a breeze and integration into Home Assistant was just as easy. We can now monitor our backup generator with ease.

Easy to install and works exactly as expected.

I ordered an entire house lot of these switches. 1 year on, I wouldn't ever want to go back to a traditional switch. They're really nice to use as normal switches with a very easy push feeling to them. But they offer so much more.

They can all be programmed through an app. I have programmed my heated towel rail to come on and off at desired times. Outside lights and stairwell lights work on a timer. Coming on at sunset and off at midnight.

And they can be programmed as function switches, so you can (for example) press the 'leave home' button, and all lights you choose, can turn off in that moment. (or whatever combination of 'on/off' you desire).

Some of the more advanced features of the app are a little hard to understand how to implement. But do-able with a little will power.

I bought a floor standing light from Kmart (which connects to Alexa). And I can also program one of these switches to turn on that light too.

I have had one switch fail on me in the 1st year. But Lykalyte were amazing in getting a replacement out to me. Great service there.

All in all, these are the future of switches and I'm glad to be getting the benefits of them right now!

This has been a fantastic addition to our home, and gives up to the minute information on how much power our most power hungry devices are. We've got this integrated with Home Assistant, and with the control we have on most appliances we can limit the power consumption where necessary.

Smart relays are a much preferred option IMO. This is my first one and I won't be doing anything other than relays for the rest of my house.

This Shelly dimmer works brilliantly and does exactly what it says. Relatively straight forward to wire and set-up. Integrates easily with Alexa so controlling via voice is simple. Will be buying more
